Year 1 Mrs Sarah James and Mrs Glass
The first outing of the New Year was marked with the threat of huge downpours. Thankfully this didn’t happen, (but parts of Australia were at this time flooded.) We walked a half circuit of the school grounds, climbing the banks, reaching a high spot, where we made a den, together with campfire and popcorn. On our journey we thought about the Australians effected by flooding...seeking higher ground...provisions needed....shelter.... friends.... family. Mrs Glass’s class did much the same route, but we did experience a little rain. Both groups were full of enthusiasm and imagination. Great fun!
